If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. – Nikola Tesla, inventor, engineer, energy explorer
We vibrate to that primordial rhythm even before we have ears to hear…. We vibrate to the rhythms of our mother’s blood before she herself is born. And this pulse is the thread of blood that runs all the way back through the grandmothers to the first mother. – Layne Redmond, Author, When the Drummers Were Women
Perhaps the earliest opportunity for taking a sound journey begins, about 18 weeks into pregnancy, in our mother’s womb. By 24 weeks, our little ears start to develop rapidly as sensitivity to sound increases each week. Sounds from our mother, her beating heart, air moving in and out of lungs, body sounds, and even the sound of blood flowing through the umbilical cord begin to form the organizational rhythms that harmonize our body and mind. These same rhythms, frequencies, and vibrations are the last sounds we hear while completing our Earth walk.
We are predisposed, hard-wired as it were, for rhythm and sound. Only when we stop listening or become overwhelmed and overstimulated by loud, chaotic, and unrelenting noise do we fail to hear them. After all, listening is the last sense to go before leaving the human body.
